Bandi Sanjay Kumar Lauds Union Budget as a Game Changer for the Middle Class

Published February 2, 2025

Karimnagar: On Saturday, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar praised the newly announced Union Budget, describing it as exceptional and remarkably beneficial for various segments of society, including the poor, middle class, farmers, small traders, and young entrepreneurs.

One of the standout highlights from the budget was the introduction of tax exemptions for employees earning up to ₹12 lakh per year. Bandi Sanjay termed this a revolutionary step, suggesting it would enable employees to save up to ₹80,000 per year.

He emphasized, “The budget is the most pro-middle class in past 75 years. No government has ever offered such favourable conditions to the middle class.” This sentiment highlights the budget's focus on enhancing the economic well-being of everyday citizens.

The budget also makes significant promises to support farmers, notably in Telangana, where over 50 lakh farmers will be eligible for loans of up to ₹5 lakh. Bandi Sanjay encouraged all farmers to apply for Kisan Credit Cards to make the most of this financial support.

Furthermore, Bandi Sanjay pointed out the government's long-term economic vision, which aims to establish India as the third-largest economy in the world by 2027, trailing only behind the United States and China. This ambitious target aims to boost overall economic growth and improve living standards across the board.

In praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his ongoing commitment to welfare, Bandi Sanjay labeled the budget as a 'welfare budget for the people' and conveyed his gratitude to both Modi and the Finance Minister for their efforts.

He also took the opportunity to urge opposition leaders to refrain from undue criticism of the budget, suggesting that cooperation between the Telangana state government and the central government would be essential for the effective implementation of the announced measures.
