Hero MotoCorp experienced the steepest drop, reaching its lowest stock price since May 13. This downturn followed disappointing sales figures released for October.

Bajaj Auto ⬇️

Bajaj Auto ranked as the second-largest decliner among Nifty stocks. It hit a nearly three-month low of Rs 9,372 due to subdued sales performance in October.

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries ⬇️

Sun Pharmaceutical also featured among the top losers, sliding to its lowest level since August 25. This decline was prompted by a US court's decision to halt the launch of the Leqselvi drug.

Cipla ⬆️

On a positive note, Cipla's share price rose significantly, marking its third consecutive session of gains. This increase followed the US FDA's approval of its facility located in Goa.

Tech Mahindra also saw an uptick in its stock value, rebounding after seven consecutive sessions of decline.

The overall market capitalization of the Nifty 50's top 50 companies witnessed a significant loss of Rs 3.2 lakh crore. This decline stemmed from a drop of up to 2% in the index, marking its lowest point in four months.
