AQR Capital Management Adjusts SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF Holdings

AQR Capital Management LLC has decreased its stake in the SPDR Portfolio S&P 500 Growth ETF (NYSEARCA:SPYG) by 11.2% during the second quarter, as reported in their latest 13F filing with the SEC. After selling 1,302 shares, the fund now holds 10,272 shares valued at approximately $823,000.

In addition, several other hedge funds and institutional investors have also modified their positions in SPYG recently. Notably, Envestnet Asset Management Inc. significantly increased its holdings by 125.1% during the second quarter, now owning a total of 12,065,732 shares worth around $966.8 million after acquiring an additional 6,706,045 shares.

Cetera Investment Advisers also increased its stake dramatically, boosting their ownership by 282.8% in the first quarter, which now amounts to 2,192,642 shares valued at around $160.4 million following an additional purchase of 1,619,888 shares. Furthermore, Savant Capital LLC raised its stake by 117.6% in the second quarter, increasing its holdings to 2,512,342 shares worth $201.3 million after acquiring an additional 1,357,615 shares.
