Vontobel Holding Ltd. Increases Its Holdings in Invesco China Technology ETF

Vontobel Holding Ltd. has significantly raised its investment in the Invesco China Technology ETF (NYSEARCA:CQQQ), highlighting a growing confidence in the sector. Over the third quarter, Vontobel's stake in the ETF expanded by 33.3%, according to a recent filing with the Securities & Exchange Commission. This purchase added 4,500 shares to their portfolio, bringing their total ownership to 18,000 shares, a notable increase from their previous holding. As a result, Vontobel Holding Ltd. holds about 0.09% of the ETF, amounting to a value of $652,000 at the end of the latest reporting period.

Investment Shifts Among Major Players

Other key investment players have also adjusted their stakes in the Invesco China Technology ETF. Citigroup Inc., for instance, increased its share ownership by 10.2% in the first quarter and Simplex Trading LLC made a bold move, enhancing its position by 168.4% in the second quarter. Moreover, Natixis started a new position in the ETF in the same quarter, and Credit Suisse AG made a slight increase of 1.7%. A standout adjustment was made by Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Co., which expanded its share count by an impressive 137.9% in the fourth quarter.

ETF Performance Metrics

The Invesco China Technology ETF experienced fluctuations in its share price, opening at $34.63 on Tuesday. It ranged between a one-year low of $33.50 and a high of $51.19. Additionally, the ETF boasts a market capitalization of $720.30 million, a price-to-earnings ratio of 77.33, and a beta of 0.64. The ETF's 50-day and 200-day simple moving averages stood at $36.04 and $38.28, respectively.
