Creative Planning Significantly Increases Holdings in Invesco S&P 500 Quality ETF

In an assertive move during the third quarter, investment management firm Creative Planning has dramatically expanded its ownership of the Invesco S&P 500 Quality ETF (NYSEARCA: SPHQ). According to recent reports from HoldingsChannel, Creative Planning's investment in SPHQ soared by a staggering 2,075.4%, culminating in a total of 199,139 shares held by the firm. This impressive accumulation resulted from the purchase of an additional 189,985 shares over the quarter. The firm's strategic holdings in SPHQ are now valued at approximately $9.965 million, showing a strong commitment to this particular ETF.

Wider Market Activity

The enthusiasm for the Invesco S&P 500 Quality ETF isn't limited to Creative Planning, as other institutional investors have also been adjusting their stakes. Bank of New York Mellon Corp has initiated a new position in SPHQ during the same quarter, investing over $72 million. Meanwhile, First Command Advisory Services Inc. increased its holdings by 7.8%, reaching a new total of 13,822,335 shares valued near a colossal $691.62 million.

Another notable investor, Corient Private Wealth LLC, grew its investment by 125.4%, now owning shares worth about $61.71 million. In a similar trend, Wells Fargo & Company MN raised its stake by 58.2% in the second quarter, whereas LPL Financial LLC upped its investment by 10.4% in the third quarter, strengthening its portfolio with shares currently worth roughly $277.87 million.

As of the report, the ETF started the day at $59.91, with a 50-day moving average price at $56.66 and a 200-day moving average price at $53.31. SPHQ boasts a market capitalization of $6.48 billion, along with a PE ratio of 16.07 and a beta of 0.94, showcasing both its size and stability in the market.
